I thought maybe if I was thinking it, someone else was, so I was gonna ask a couple of quick questions. I HATE bugs. Not all of them but especially roaches. I sprayed my apartment when I first moved in almost a year ago and haven't had to do it since. Now that it's getting warm and the bugs are coming out I wanna spray again, but I don't want to get Chili sick, or worse. Is there any specific bug repellents I should use, or will just any of them be fine? Mind you I'm not spraying right next to the cage, I'm just worried about when we let him out and he wanders into like the kitchen (which he tries to do frequently). I've also found that Chili absolutely adores his baths. I have no problem with it, it's easier than getting a child to bathe (lol), but he seems to wanna bathe the entire time he's let out of his cage. Is there such a thing as too much bathing for chins? Thanks!!! ;D

I only bathe my chins like every 3rd day or more in the humid temps. As for spraying, I personally would not do it in my home.

We spray around our house, but not in the chin room. They never come in contact with it at all.
Bathing depends on your climate and your humidity level. If you live in an area with dry air, you should let him bathe once (maybe twice) in a week. If you live in a more humid area, he can have 2-3 bathes per week. If you notice him scratching frequently, it means too much bathing is drying out his skin and you need to cut back a bit.
