i had a food one i bought from walmart and it was so annoying bc it kept shutting off like only after a few seconds!! there was not enough time for a chin to even get over to the thing b4 it shut off! I went to Staples and bought a postal scale for $50 and it has an override to the shutoff so I dont have to worry about that anymore. I like it way better and its alot more accurate than the kitchen one i was using.
i first bought one like you listed with the bowl, but it was useless bc the chins kept knocking it off as they were climbing in/out of it and i couldnt get a good reading. but i guess if u have chins who will sit still for 2 seconds then it may work for you, but I had no luck!

I often put the dust bath on mine and TARE it so I can get a weight on my chins, so I needed something flat.

I have one that looks more like the first and last one. It works great! I think Fuzzy T has the bowl one and it works well for her.

I have the bowl one, and Fuzzy used to like it, but has recently decided it is the bad chin eater. I have to put him in a tupperware container, with tall sides so I can get him weighed. Those all look like nice choices, but I would shop around locally first.

Maybe Target like suggested. They have nice things, as well as Bed Bath Beyond. ;D

I know you said you checked walmart but did you look in their office supply section? that's where they are at my local one.

That's just what I was going to say! It's in the Office Supply section, it's a postal scale. That one is the BOMB, it reads quickly and easily. I have a kitchen scale and the numbers go wonky at the tiniest movement, and it's REALLY hard to get an accurate reading. My postal scale is perfect, and they just stand on it for me.

I really don't like the kitchen scale that I have... and it was very very expensive, but I "stole" it from work (they got new ones and were going to get rid of it. It is very very jumpy... if the chin even flinches it jumps all over everywhere. I would also look for something nice and flat so that if you have to set a container (plastic tub or whatever) on it it will stay put. Mine has like a raised ledge around the edges and when I put the chinnie weighing box on the scale it will slide right off with the slightest chin movement.

I think all of those look pretty good! and with free shipping I say any of them. I got mine at walmart in the kitchen section and I'm not a big fan of it, it shuts off.
