Charlie has been a little sweetie from day 1, loves his scritches, didn't mind being handled. Loves sharing his whisker kisses and licks. That was up until the last few days. I took his dust bath out of the cage cause I know it should be left in their permanently and ever since then he has been acting like I am the boogie man.
Ideas on how to bring back the loving side and to show him I am not the boogie man???

Sounds like he is pouting about his dust bath. Give him a little time, he will come around!!

Chins tend to pout and it takes a few days for them to get over it, just keep doing what you normally do and he will come around!

Yep - they're just like kids and they don't like to be told NO! I know if their arms were longer they'd be crossing them while giving the stink eye!

I put the dust bath back in there yesterday and will take it out tonight. Something else the brat had been doing with the dust bath out peeing in his food dish. No worries on the stink eye I have been getting that a lot lately. On the other side of the coin Chin-Chin and I had a real long snuggle Sat guess she's over her crankiness! I really would never have thought of a chin pouting quite like that!

I would not let him have his dust that long, he could over dry his skin having constant access to it. Even if he pouts, you have to do what is best for him I use coop cups for my chins, so the food bowl is elevated to eliminate poo and such in the dishes, works well too

I use coop cups, too! Love 'em. Yep - they can be defiant little creatures.

Another idea is LinDan's corner dinner shelf (or they have a long shelf version). Newton hasn't poo'd in his food bowl (or dumped it) since I bought that!

Yep, I use LinDan's diner shelves too and the boys have more manners now! Now if I could just get them to stop perching on the edge of their hay box and pooing in there!

Give him extra lovings and maybe a apple stick! He will come around!
