I had Gizmo out playing tonight. He kept dragging his but on the floor. The way dogs do when they have worms. I have never seen him do this before. Has anyone ever see a chin do that? Can chins get worms.?

I had a young chin that did that twice and we attributed it to a blood sugar issue. I had to make sure he wasn't getting stressed during playtime and now that he's older, we haven't had any incidents.

Fuzzy looks like he is doing that from time to time, I was told he is scent marking. He doesn't full out do it. He kind of scoots across the floor face down sniffing and butt down marking.

I think Aimee (Chinettes) had a girl chinnie do this once and it was some sort of infection? No wait, I think she may have gotten an infection from it because the dog shared the same space? I can't remember the exact details....maybe she'll see this post and comment...

Molly would do it all of the time, it did seem like she was "marking" but after rubbing her butt all over the floor, a few days later She got lethargic & had discharge, got her to the Vet and she had a staph infection!! But I don't think that would be an issue in or for a Male...

Hmmm, Zeke dragged his butt end around a few months back when he had bloat/gas. His sides kinda looked caved in too. I ended up giving him baby gas drops, belly massages and did hand feed him for a few days. Is he eating, drinking and pooping normally?
