The wood at PPBN is all processed, she just doesn't boil it. I don't either. It's cleaned by hand and baked in solar ovens. It's completely safe and all-natural. I've been using it for years, as has LinDan and we've never EVER had any issues. If anyone has any questions about Barbi's wood, just write her. I'm sure she'll be happy to answer any questions anyone can throw her way.

Sounds like she's doing exactly what I'm doing. So I guess cottonwood can come in different colors.

The trees might be younger, too. I notice the pecan wood is a different shade from when I cut down saplings, to when I trim the BIG trees, too.
