most people like blue cloud or blue sparkle. I tried both and my guy is a sparkle boy. I recommend buying a bit of both (tons of people here sell both) and seeing what goes over best. I give Mouse about 20 minutes of bath time evey other day - give or take. sometimes he gets a quick roll evey night - other weeks more time per night but not evey night - don't leave dust in all the time!

I use blue cloud and love it. Puddles gets a bath every third day. If I see her getting a tad "rough" looking, I'll throw in an extra one. Some people give baths more or less often. I guess it all depends on your chins.

i used to use blue cloud but it seemed to bother willows eyes. it would get stuck in the corners and shed scratch at it. for the longest time i was convinced she had an eye infection! so i switched to blue sparkle and she doesnt seem to have that problem at all anymore so i've just been sticking with that one.

I am using Blue Cloud, but I haven't tried Blue Sparkle. I ordered 1 lb and on my next order I am going to order some Blue Sparkle and see which works better.

I use Blue Cloud or Blue Sparkle. I have both. Blue cloud is if he's looking greasy, Blue Sparkle if his fur looks ok and it's just time to dust.

It depends on the level of humidity where you live. High humidity = dust baths more often, lower humidity = less frequent dust baths. Over dusting can dry out their skin and make them itchy. I live where the air is SOUP so I leave the dust available every day. My girls regulate themselves, they don't dust every single day, maybe 4 or 5 times a week, though. They seem to know when they need it!
Blue Cloud can trigger asthma if you are prone to it, Blue Sparkle works just as good and is a tiny bit cheaper. I mostly use LM Animal Farms dust which I find at my local feed store, but I keep Blue Sparkle on hand as a backup.
Check our Resource section for where to buy them.

I use blue cloud since I can get 50lb bags for 31.00 locally and it works well. I have my dust out at play time, they can dust as much as they want, never had a problem with dry skin or eyes but we have alot of humidity here also.

Ugh on you being able to find it locally!
I've found that LM Animal Farms dust is very, very similar to Blue Sparkle. If I can't get my hands on BS or BC, I run to the local pet store and purchase that.

You guys that have local hay food and dust are so lucky, there is nothing I can get around here..so I always an ordering online.
I was using blue cloud for about a year but it really bothered me and I couldn't breathe right when they were dusting so I switched to Blue Sparkle and I think it is great. Either one is a great choice and keeps their fur beautiful :-)

I use Blue Cloud here. I get about 15 lbs shipped in a large flat priority box and it lasts a good while. Never had any problems with it, either. It has really done wonders for my rescue boy's fur!

LM Farms or Sun Seed for me. I was in a pinch the other day, broke down and bought some Kaytee and wow was it ever expensive, $11.99 for a small container. I won't be doing that again. No one sells Blue Cloud or Blue Sparkle around here but maybe I can buy some from Pam?

I sell blue cloud and I think Pam does. You should try it, it is so much better than the stuff in the stores, imo. I find it cleans up the white chins much better than any other dust. I'm also allergic to the other kind of dust. I break out in a rash if I use it. I'm allergic to the blue cloud too, but only that it stuffs my nose up. I don't have an itchy red rash from it.

Blue Cloud!! I love the way it smells (yes I'm a freak, lol) and I love the way it make my chins look and feel. I was blessed to get a TON of it when I took in Napoleon.
