I have some question about a couple things.
What are the signs that a female chin is pregnant besides weight gain?
What should you have on hand in case of kits?

If boys and girls are not together then there is no need for that info. I have had chins for over 8 years and have never needed to know anything about breeding. .

Please note per the rules of the board, no breeding questions or discussions. Thanks!

Questions are welcome, it's just the 'breeding' discussions that aren't allowed here b/c this is a pet-only site. There's loads of other sites/forums that have breeding sections in them (we don't have a section for that) and have knowledgeable people that can answer most if not all of your questions.
There are those who have chinchillas who might be or are pregnant when they bought them and now have to deal with babies, but they never bred them, they arrived that way. We have a lot of experienced people who would be more than happy to help them with pregnancy, birthing and kit questions.
I hope that makes things a little clearer Donna.

I understand what your saying CA. and we didn't breed the chinchilla.
The link Tara posted helped me out a bit. Thanks.
